Niamh Hetherington won her first outdoor National track medal when she took bronze in the Girls U/14 80 metres at the National track & field championships in Tullamore last saturday. Despite a bad start Niamh finished strongly to clock a pb of 10.61 seconds which betters her previous best placing of 5th last year and which adds to her National 60 metres indoor bronze which she won in Nenagh last March.
Oisín Foley produced a very fine performance to place 5th in the Boys U/16 250 metre hurdles final in a pb of 34.77 seconds
